Being able to wear both hats gives me the ability to conceptualize design ideas and immediately test them against technical constraints.
I can ask what if… and come up with real code to answer design explorations. It’s a two-way process that enhances my creativity.
It’s really knowing your medium thoroughly that makes you a great designer or developer.
Ideas and technology should work as closely as possible — in fact, great products are created when the two live together (think).
And for me, that’s pure fun!
